Why This Project
The world wanted their products.
But couldn't find them.
Chaminda Products is a large manufacturing company with multiple distributing outlets across Sri Lanka. Quality spice products. Established supply chain. Strong local presence. But zero global visibility.
We pitched the business proposal directly to the owner. The opportunity was clear: there is a huge interest in Sri Lankan spices in Europe and other international markets. Buyers were actively searching - but Chaminda Products had no way to be discovered. No website. No product catalog. No digital bridge between a world-class manufacturer and the global market that wanted what they made.
We took this project because the gap between demand and discovery was enormous. The product quality existed. The international appetite existed. What was missing was the infrastructure to connect them.
The Problem
A manufacturer without
a global storefront.
No online product presence
A manufacturing company with multiple outlets and a full product range - but nothing online. No product catalog. No way for international buyers to browse, compare, or discover what Chaminda offers.
Invisible to international markets
European buyers actively searching for Sri Lankan spices never found Chaminda. No SEO. No international search presence. The demand existed globally - but the bridge between manufacturer and buyer did not.
Traditional business model ceiling
Growth was limited to physical distribution networks and word-of-mouth. No way to reach B2B buyers beyond existing channels. A company with export-quality products operating exclusively in a local-only model.
What We Built
Not just a website.
A global bridge.
We designed and developed a comprehensive website showcasing their entire spice product range - making it easy for global consumers and B2B buyers to discover their catalog and reach out directly. Every architectural decision was made to serve international discovery.
Next.js for international SEO
Built with Next.js to leverage server-side rendering for SEO optimization. The product catalog is structured to rank on international search engines, ensuring European and global B2B buyers can discover Chaminda's spice products organically. Clean, component-based architecture for long-term maintainability.
AWS Amplify + Cloudinary
Hosted on AWS Amplify with a pay-as-you-go model - no large upfront hosting costs. Scales with the export business. All product and outlet images stored and served via Cloudinary for fast, optimized global delivery with automatic format conversion and responsive sizing. International visitors get a smooth experience regardless of connection speed.
Dashify dashboard + business strategy
Integrated with our Dashify platform for managing product listings, updating outlet information, and viewing real-time visitor analytics - full control without needing a developer. Beyond development, we identified the opportunity, pitched the owner on the European spice market potential, and executed the strategy to bring a traditional manufacturer online and accessible to global B2B buyers.
